1. Executive Summary

This is not only a 360 tour, photo gallery, or website.

JALM proposes a practical visual reference tool that documents assets, panels, valves, lockout points, procedures, evidence, field observations, pending items, and recommendations directly connected to their real physical location.

01

Reduce information loss

Organize field evidence and maintenance knowledge before it disappears into phones, messages, or memory.

02

Support shutdowns

Help maintenance, supervisors, operators, and contractors before, during, and after critical interventions.

03

Improve traceability

Keep findings, pending work, recommendations, and closeout evidence tied to assets or areas.

04

Preserve knowledge

Reduce dependency on one person by creating a reusable visual knowledge base.

2. About JALM Industrial Solutions

JALM turns field information into reusable industrial knowledge.

JALM Industrial Solutions helps industrial companies convert field evidence, technical knowledge, and operational documentation into clear, navigable systems for maintenance, planning, and decision-making.

3. Current Situation

Critical maintenance knowledge is often not centralized.

Knowledge in people

Critical information depends on technicians, supervisors, operators, or contractors being available.

Photos scattered

Evidence remains in phones, text messages, loose folders, or incomplete reports.

Shutdown preparation gaps

Access, risks, parts, tools, and isolation points may not be reviewed visually before work begins.

Repeated explanations

Teams repeat the same explanations for assets, valves, panels, sensors, or access paths.

Pending work gets lost

Open items, recommendations, and unresolved issues can disappear between shutdowns.

Limited visual traceability

Completed work, field findings, and closeout evidence are difficult to connect to the real location.

4. Proposed Solution

A Visual Maintenance Documentation System by Asset.

The selected area is captured in 360/3D and converted into a navigable reference. Critical assets and points can then be tagged, documented, reviewed, and connected to field evidence.

1

360/3D Walkthrough

Navigable visual reference of the work area.

2

Asset Identification

Panels, motors, pumps, valves, sensors, hoses, lockout points, and risk areas.

3

Asset Cards

Name, location, photos, status, notes, recommendations, evidence, and documents.

4

Field Observations

Pending work, spare parts, recurring problems, unsafe conditions, and access limits.

5

Executive Report

Area summary, findings, risks, recommendations, and next steps.

5. Initial Pilot Approach

Start with a controlled pilot to prove value without making the first project too broad.

Suggested Area

Press 3 or the critical maintenance area Western Extrusions determines as the priority.

Pilot Objective

Create a first functional version of the visual system to support maintenance, planning, asset review, and operational continuity.

Recommended Initial Scope

  • 360/3D capture of the selected area.
  • Visual identification of critical assets.
  • 20 to 30 initial documented assets.
  • Basic/professional asset cards.
  • Organized photographic evidence.
  • Field observations, pending list, recommendations, PDF report, private review link, and client review.

6. Before · During · After Maintenance

The system supports the full maintenance cycle.

Before

Review asset location, access points, tools, spare parts, risks, area conditions, and client-provided/validated LOTO or isolation points.

During

Locate equipment, consult evidence, record observations, take additional photos, document limitations, and confirm pending items.

After

Preserve visual history, unresolved items, recommendations, closeout evidence, technician comments, and information for the next shutdown.

7. Benefits for Western Extrusions

Practical value for maintenance, supervision, contractors, and management.

01

Less dependency

Practical knowledge becomes visually documented and available to more people.

02

Better shutdown preparation

The team can review the area visually before starting the intervention.

03

Better field-office communication

Everyone can refer to the same visual point instead of relying only on verbal explanations.

04

Better critical asset control

Important assets become easier to locate, review, document, and train on.

8. Professional Package Deliverables

Included deliverables for a professional visual documentation package.

1

360/3D visual capture

Navigable walkthrough of the selected area.

2

Initial asset visual map

Identification of key assets inside the visual environment.

15-17. Responsibilities, Security, and Technical Clarification

Client validation and confidentiality remain central to the project.

Western Extrusions responsibilities

Provide safe access, authorization for visual capture, a designated review contact, priority asset list if available, confidentiality restrictions, internal photo/documentation rules, available technical information, and validation of critical procedures before they are considered official.

Confidentiality and security

JALM will treat visual, technical, and operational information as confidential. Access will be provided through a private link or another method agreed with the client. Sanitized versions can be created when needed.

Technical and legal clarification

JALM provides visual documentation, technical organization, field evidence, and operational support reports. The service does not replace stamped engineering, official inspections, approved safety procedures, authorized personnel validation, or final compliance responsibility by the client.

18. Commercial Recommendation

JALM recommends Option 2: Professional Press 3 System for $12,500.

This option provides enough depth to demonstrate real operational value without requiring Western to commit to a full plant-wide implementation at the beginning. After the pilot is approved and reviewed, expansion can be quoted by line, area, department, or monthly support program.
